Our Faculty Development Program, Addressing the Health Needs of the Underserved will be offered three times:

Week One: Monday May 10 – Friday, May 14, 2010
Week Two: Monday September 20 – Friday, September 24, 2010
Week Three: Monday December 6 – Friday, December 10, 2010

If you are a family medicine, pediatrics, or general internal medicine physician / faculty who has always felt a commitment to the primary care of the underserved, then this program is for you. You will acquire skills to develop teaching programs for medical students or residents in community medicine, do scholarly work in primary care of the underserved, and create community based programs. With 14 others from across the country, you will participate in 3 weeks of a core faculty development program. 107 Faculty from 30 states (including Hawaii) and Puerto Rico have completed the program.
